A privacy advocacy group has convinced congress to hold hearings on Big Sis and DHS monitoring of social media like Twitter and even Drudge Report!
The group headed by the Patriot, Ginger McCall is called the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC)!! Show EPIC some love for standing up for us!
EPIC uncovered some shady shit in some 300 documents that they got under FOIA..
According to the report Big Sis is paying $11.3 Million to monitor us on a "24/7/365 basis." She also asked that negative as well as POSITIVE comments be gathered and reported? Why Sis? Is this a popularity contest for you?....Pretty disgusting.
The hearing will take place next week on the 16th and is called DHS Monitoring of Social Networking and Media: Enhancing Intelligence Gathering and Ensuring Privacy.
